Mysterious Note

Attempts 1&2.. Neither of them turned out quite as desired, but it was fun to do and I'm most likely never gonna try it again. There's elements in both that I like, and there's a lot that I don't.
The aging the second time turned out much better and more true to the original, but the hand print turned out too light and I had to paint over it. Then I traced the wording at the bottom which looks nice but is a off to the right a bit. _{plus it smells strongly of expresso and the back is stained wrong}I was told by a friend that the second one looks stiff, or something, but that's because I hadn't folded it yet.
The first attempt just looks better somehow, but doesn't look as accurate, to me anyway.
