Companion Cube

What was supposed to be a quick easy practice of one of my favorite game's characters, turned out to be any but  
Originally it was going somewhat as planned, a few lack-of-planning-caused delays, but nothing too serious. I ended up with this and was content enough initially, and considered posting it as is. Buuut it kept annoying me and I thought I'd make minor adjustments and glam it up a bit..... I can't say I went too far with it because I'm certainly happy with the result now but it Did take forever and I've reached new stretches of mental exhaustion -most of which could've been easily avoided with a little more planning, mind you  
I had meant to add Majora's Mask; then I switched the plans to the paper plan from disny's short Paperman when I realized I wouldn't have the time; settled on neither
maybe I'll do both tomorrow, or wait for when I have a larger model that doesn't hold its own and slap 'em next to it for show (like the pokeball ) dunno.
_{long rambling sentences that make no sense is what you get when it's almost 2 am and I spent literal hours trying to figure out how to do something which ended up being like 2 simple steps that I finally found after much googling >.< I'm referring to the glow}

I don't know why the shadow's doing that on the top front corner's of the cube they're flat and aren't split in any way; using smooth shading just made matters worse but it's still annoying me it's still too late and I'm still too tired to care enough to try to fix it anymore than I already did though.
